Jennifer Moses is co-founder and chair of Caliber Schools, a charter school management organization in the Bay Area dedicated to improving educational outcomes for historically underserved children. She was CEO for the first seven years. This follows her work as a co-founder of ARK, one of the largest children's charities in the United Kingdom, and King Solomon Academy, an inner-city charter school in London that is one of the top non-selective schools in the country. She is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow. She is passionate about equity in education. Her career has combined finance and public policy in the United States and abroad. She co-founded UndauntedK12, a non-profit devoted to decarbonizing America’s schools and educating the next generation about climate change. Moses was a managing director in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs; served as chief executive officer of the British policy think tank CentreForum; and was a senior policy adviser to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, helping to restructure the British banking sector during the financial crisis of 2008-09. She also invests in educational technology startups. A 1983 graduate of Brown, Moses co-chaired the gift efforts for her 25th, 30th and 35th reunions. She has interviewed Brown applicants and has served on Brown's Creative Arts Advisory Board. She is married to a Brown classmate and is a Brown parent. In addition to serving on the Brown Corporation and the boards of Caliber and King Solomon Academy, Moses is a trustee of Rothschild & Co and Theatre Aspen and founder of Mountain Minyan in Aspen.
