Biography

Shanelle Chambers Haile is an associate in McKinsey and Company’s Boston office, focusing on social and public sector topics. She also serves as a founding board member of the Cultural Equity Lab. Additionally, Haile has a decade of experience in public policy, which included strategic advisory roles. During her tenure at Brown, Haile was actively engaged in the Brown community. For instance, she served as a graduate community fellow and graduate coordinator at the Sarah Doyle Center for Women and Gender and completed an apprenticeship in the provost’s office—a role that involved supporting campus institutes in their strategic planning efforts. Through these roles, she advocated for campus policies designed to support student parents and developed programming for graduate students. Haile holds a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College, a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and a PhD in sociology from Brown.
